Additionally, these small pieces of barn wood furniture fit nicely in any country setting. Amish crafters make them after tearing down a local barn.

A Little About Our Amish Friends
Our Amish friends are dedicated to not wasting anything. They handcraft reclaimed barn wood into these unique cabinets, reflecting their commitment to sustainability. In fact, this family is renowned for Amish Country Collectible Handmade Primitive Rustic Country Décor. Making barn wood items helps supplement their income from farming and gathering maple syrup.
The Role of Amish Children
Indeed, the Amish children also assist in the shop located in their barn. The small barn wood spice cabinet is one of their favorite projects. It’s just the right size for them to help with nailing. The children learn the trade at a very young age. As soon as they can hold a real hammer or screwdriver, they receive scrap wood to mimic their father.
