Amish Handmade Solid Steel Western Wagon Wheel Round Axle is 51 3/4 inches long overall. 36 inches between welded blocks that keeps the wagon wheel from traveling toward the cart, buggy, buckboard, etc. There is a total of 36 inches (3 feet) between the wheel hubs when mounted to the steel axle. The Solid Steel Western Wagon Wheel Round Axle is 1 inch thick. There is 5 1/2 inches between the welded block and the washer that keeps the wagon wheel from traveling off the outside edge of the axle. A cotter pin fits through a small hole that is drilled at both ends of the axle. Custom axles can be made to order if a special size is needed for a project.
